Bishop's Visitation II

Last weekend was our regional board meeting, followed by the bishop's annual visitation. He came and chatted with the board-- what all is going on in the diocese, and some about the wider church as well.

We also remembered his last visit, and the infamous crozier incident. Out of their great concern, and with a wish to protect what is apparently a delicate bit of ecclesiastical equippage, we did some research-- and then one of my parishioners made him a gift:



The bishop will no doubt be the envy of everyone at the next House of Bishop's meeting. I bet there's not another soul in the Anglican Communion with his own custom-made Crozier Cozy.
