Home again

Pulled in this evening, unloaded the car, and started the laundry (a week's worth of clothes, for a family of four, makes for several loads).

We've had a wonderful time, traveling and visiting, these last two weeks; but it's good to be back.

Now, we get ready for the next adventure; back-to-school shopping.

My kids don't want to talk about back-to-school shopping, because that means going back to school. Can you say "denial"?

Back-to-school shopping - it's not an adventure, it's just a job.

Why Are Women Tasked With So Much To Do???

This will solve it for sure:

Write a 43 word essay entitled, "My Hubby: Vampire or Vulcan?", shred it, and then, get your trusted friend on the cell. Arrange to meet that friend at a Thai restaurant of your choosing.

Then, after sitting down, utter the phrase, "Loi Un Papa". Then order two Thai Iced Teas. When they arrive, you and your friend should close your eyes and imagine you are in a wet bathroom where someone has just finished showering.

Then, open your eyes. Grab the cold glass and sip. You will discover that what you are drinking is...

ORANGE SHOWER CURTAIN!

Now Do You Understand???
